China: We firmly support Russia’s efforts to maintain its stability and prosperity

Beijing (ST): China expressed its firm support for Russia in maintaining national stability, development and prosperity.

Commenting on the recent events related to the armed rebellion announced by the Wagner Military Group and its subsequent surrender, Xinhua News Agency quoted a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman as saying yesterday: “The Wagner Group incident is a Russian internal affair, and in light of China being a friendly neighbor and a comprehensive strategic coordination partner with Russia, it supports Russia in maintaining national stability and achieving development and prosperity.
