China strongly condemns terrorist attack in Damascus

The Chinese Foreign Ministry condemned the terrorist bombing of a military bus in Damascus last Wednesday.

China strongly condemns the terrorist attack in Damascus, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin was quoted as saying, expressing his country’s sympathy with the families of the martyrs and the injured.

 

Wang Wenbin reiterated China’s opposition to all forms of terrorism and its support for the Syrian government’s efforts to combat it, stressing his country’s endeavors with the international community to help achieve long-lasting security and stability throughout the country.

14 people were killed and a number of others were injured as a result of a terrorist detonation of two explosive devices attached to a military bus at the President Bridge in Damascus last Wednesday.
