China’s Ambassador in Tehran: Beijing Supports Syria against Terrorism

TEHRAN, (ST) _ China Ambassador to Iran Pang Sen renewed his country’s position concerning latest developments in Syria, stressing China’s support for Syria against terrorism.

Ambassador Pang Sen pointed out, at a Forum held yesterday to strengthen Iranian-Chinese relations, which was held in the Chinese embassy in Tehran, to maintain coordination between his country and Russia concerning the crisis in Syria and their support for the Syrian government in challenging terrorism.

He described the relations between his country and Iran as historic and bilateral cooperation as “good” concerning issues in the region including the crisis in Syria, the fight against terrorism, the situation in Afghanistan and in helping to establish peace in the Middle East and North Africa.
