China Reiterates Support for Political Settlement

 BEIJING, (ST)-China has reiterated its support for attaining a political solution to the crisis in Syria and hailed the positive results of the enlarged meeting held in the Austrian Capital Vienna for this purpose.

Xinuha quoted the Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying as saying that “China is always committed to political solution to the crisis in Syria”, stressing her country’s readiness to work with the international community in order to achieve more agreement on seeking a political settlement in the country.

Vienna international meeting on Syria concluded yesterday by stressing the need to fight terrorism, attain political solution to the crisis in Syria and preserve Syria’s unity.
