China reiterates its opposition to US suppression of Chinese telecom companies
China has reiterated its strong opposition to the unreasonable US suppression of Chinese telecom companies in the absence of facts.
China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said in a statement today, in response to the revocation of a Chinese telecommunications company’s license in the United States, “China firmly opposes the United States’ generalization of the concept of national security, abuse of state power and unreasonable suppression of Chinese companies in the absence of facts.”
On the 27th of last month, the US Federal Communications Commission revoked the license of China Unicom America to provide telecommunications services in the United States.
