China: Peoples of the world oppose US interference in states’ affairs
Beijing, (ST) – China emphasized that the people of the world oppose the US policies based on interference in the internal affairs of other countries.
“It is not surprising that former senior US officials admitted that they planned coups in foreign countries,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin was quoted by Xinhua as saying at a press conference on Wednesday.
The Chinese official stressed that this only shows that interfering in the internal affairs of other countries and overthrowing the regimes of other countries has become a code of conduct for the US government and part of US rules that will only meet the opposition of peoples all over the world.
Wang’s comments came in response to the statements of John Bolton, the US national security adviser under former President Donald Trump, who admitted yesterday that he participated in (planning coups) outside the United States.
