China is ready to send urgent humanitarian assistance to Syria

China expressed its readiness to send urgent humanitarian assistance to Syria to help it respond to the aftermath of today’s earthquake.

Xinhua quoted Chinese Agency for International Development Cooperation spokesman Xu Wei as saying today: “Beijing is ready to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to Syria, in accordance with the needs.

Wei expressed China’s condolences to the families of the victims and its concern about the loss of life and property, noting that Chona was in contact with Syria.
