China demands that the West pay attention to Russia’s security concerns

New York, (ST) – The Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations, Zhang Jun called on the United States, NATO and the European Union to pay attention to Russia’s security concerns and engage in dialogue with it.

During a UN Security Council session on Ukraine, Zhang Jun said that, China calls on the United States, NATO and the European Union to engage in an equal dialogue with Russia.

 Zhang added that exporting offensive weapons and sending mercenaries to Ukraine could complicate and make the situation worse.

Yesterday, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that the suspension of the special military operation to protect Donbass is possible only if Kiev stops hostilities and responds to Russian demands.
