Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang called on the international community to confront unilateral sanctions and reject the policy of forming conflicting blocs.
Xinhua quoted Qiang as saying today during the opening of the “Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2023”: “The Chinese global initiative in the field of security and confronting the misuse of unilateral sanctions and attempts to apply national legislation outside borders is an important initiative, and it must be supported.”
Qiang affirmed his country’s rejection of the policy of the conflicting blocs when it comes to choosing between this or that party, noting that Beijing supports peaceful means to resolve disputes between countries.
“We need to work together, strengthen solidarity to maintain world peace and stability, and the international community should strive and work together to collectively promote global development,” Qiang said.
