Children visual inspection campaign

In cooperation between the Education Directorate , School Health and the Latakia Health Directorate , the Department of Public Health Programs began a campaign to examine the visual ability of children in primary schools ” from first grade to fourth grade”.

Field inspection teams composed of resident physicians and nursing elements (health educators) were formed from health centers to implement the campaign and direct the children referred from field teams to the National Hospital ” the eye clinic”.
