Child Actors Star in Syrian Drama

Damascus (ST) – The talent of Syrian children in acting has added a distinguished flavor to the Syrian drama works in this year, as they managed to attract the attention of the audience from the first scenes by embodying their roles with sincere spontaneity. They have proven themselves as talents who play main roles not just as extra actors within these works.

They influenced the aesthetic composition of the works as they brought out the creative energy within themselves and developed their sense of beauty and art.

The children participating in the series “Marba Al-Ezz”, directed by Rasha Sharbatji, were Cesar Abdel Qader as “Manna”, Jad Shams as “Fares”, and the youngest child in this work Muhammad Sheikh Ragab as “Zain”.

The director was able to discover the capabilities of the three children and managed to translate their feelings in front of her camera.

Among other talented child actors is Rabie Jean, a teenager, who participated in “Al-Zind” series, playing the role of “Assi”, Yara Idris, a child girl, starred in “Muqabala Maa Al-Sayed Adam 2” as Mira, and Sandy Dahiyah, a child girl, starred in “Sabaya” series.

It is to be noted that since the beginning of the Syrian drama, many children with the talent of acting have appeared in TV series and later became stars in their youth. Among them are Rawa Al-Saadi, Ruba Al-Saadi, Adham Al-Mulla, Suleiman Rizk and others.
