Chemical weapons used in Khan al-Assal likely came from Turkey, says al-Zou’bi

MOSCOW,(ST)_Information Minister said the chemical weapon used by the terrorists outside Aleppo province, in Khan al-Assal area, is likely came from Turkey.

Omran al-Zou’bi  also clarified that  the US-western allegations about the Syrian Arab Army’s use of chemical weapons in other locations are groundless.

The RT quoted al-Zou’bi as saying: “the rocket strike hit Khan al-Assal area was launched from a place in which terrorists do exists and it isn’t far away from Turkish territories.”

He cited Syria’s support for Russian experts’ participation in investigating the possible use of chemical weapons in the attack on Khan al-Assal, reminding that the Syrian government asked for an inquiry into the incident.

Al-Zou’bi, in addition, said that the US has been involved in terrorist operations all over the world. “Now, the US is involved in the terrorist acts in Syria because of its support and silence towards the armed terrorist groups’ crimes and the Gulf-Qatari fund for terrorists.”
