MOSCOW, (ST) _ Chechen President Ramdan Kaderov said that US and Israeli intelligence deceived Chechen youth to join terrorist organizations in Syria and kill the Syrian people, pointing out that he is following with interest what is happening in Syria of acts of murder and destruction committed by terrorists.
Meeting with the Republic Grand Mufti Dr. Ahmad Badr eddin Hassoun in Grozny yesterday, president Kaderov voiced solidarity with Syria, and noted his country’s efforts to raise awareness of the Chechen people to that the war on Syria is a war waged by the enemies of Islam, pointing that “we will all achieve victory very soon.”
President Kaderov said that his country would not allow those who join terrorist organizations in Syria and kill the Syrian people to return back to Chechnya, and addressed them saying “You’re not Chechens nor Muslims and we will exterminate all of you because you went there to kill the Syrian people and you will never be allowed to return to Chechnya, because you do not have the traits of human beings nor Muslims.”
He expressed admiration for the performance of the Syrian leadership, headed by President Bashar al-Assad, “ who realized from the beginning the goal of the Western aggressive attitudes towards Syria,” stressing,” we will make efforts in order not to have war not only in Syria but also in the whole world. “
For his part, Mufti Hassoun pointed positions taken by Chechen president in countering terrorism in Syria.
Hassoun explained that things took a new course now as Westerners start to find out that members of the so-called Chechen battalion, are not residents of Chechnya, but immigrants to Europe, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, noting efforts made by a group of Saudi and Egyptian Sheiks to attract young Chechens to this end. “
Hassoun pointed to the negative role played by Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey.
He went on that the Saudis and Qataris spent billions of US$ on the systematic Wahhabi media and on buying weapons to kill the Syrian people,, indicating that should half of this sum of money is spent on the Palestinian and Lebanese resistances Jerusalem would has been liberated.
For his part, the Syrian ambassador in Moscow Riad Haddad stressed the joint common interests to fight terrorism among the Syrian and Chechen peoples, through fortifying the two countries young peoples against drifting to takfiri trends.
