Charnogorsky: Western sanctions harm Europe more than they harm Russia

Bratislava (ST): Former Slovak Prime Minister Jan Charnogorsky stressed that Western sanctions imposed on Russia are meaningless and harm Europeans more than they harm Moscow.

In an interview with the Slovakian Invoina channel, Charnogorsky added that these sanctions do not have any chance of success, explaining that Russia is a large country and has markets that it can export its products.

He pointed out that the United States wants to continue its hegemony over the world, stressing the need to change the current situation in the world in favor of a multipolar system in which Washington cannot dictate its will even to the European Union, as is happening now.
