Cham Wings Airlines to Increase Flights to Beirut

DAMASCUS, (ST) – Cham Wings Airlines seeks to increase the number of flights from Beirut to Damascus to meet the needs of Syrian travelers.

The Commercial Director of the Company, Nizar Suleiman,pointed out the heavy turnout by the Syrians returning to the homeland and those who left Turkey to Europe without a visa to enter or exit from Turkey, through Beirut airport as a transit airport as they  can continue to travel only by air to Qamishli and then to Damascus.

Mr. Suleiman pointed out that the company has reviewed the Lebanese authorities where it was agreed the entry of Syrians returning to their homeland to Lebanon, “even in the absence of an exit visa on their passport, provided that the period of transit be at the Beirut airport only 12 hours.”
