Damascus, (ST) – Cham Wings Airlines launched its first flight from Damascus International Airport to the province of Basra in Iraq..
Commercial Director of the Company Nizar Suleiman told local press that the company will run one flight a week to “Basra” Airport to provide service to Syrian expatriates and enable them to communicate with the world via the direct line and at the lowest possible cost, pointing out that the number of flights can be increased depending on the need of the market.
He pointed out that the company’s management will add a shipping service to transport passengers in addition to enhance trade exchange and increasing the process of export between Syria and Iraq..
The Sham Wings operates flights to Baghdad and Najaf, Beirut, Kuwait, Doha, Dubai, Istanbul, Khartoum, Tehran and Muscat in addition to internal flights to Qamishli.
