On September 3, Cham Wings Airlines flew its first flight to the Iranian city of Isfahan directly from Damascus International Airport. Then it will be weekly every Tuesday from Damascus to Isfahan and vice versa.
The company’s business development manager Osama Satea told SANA that the city of Isfahan is part of the plan to expand Cham Wings to many new destinations in the region, pointing out that the city is an important tourist and economic destination. Mr. Satea confirmed that these flights represent an opportunity to increase communication between the two friendly countries.
Al-Cham Wings operates regular flights from Damascus to Baghdad, Basra, Najaf, Erbil, Beirut, Kuwait, Sharjah, Muscat, Khartoum, Tehran, Moscow and Yerevan (in addition to its internal flights to Qamishli and Lattakia).
