Catholicos Aram I Keshishian congratulates President Al-Sharaa on assuming Syria’s Presidency

Catholicos Aram I Keshishian of All Armenians of the Great House of Cilicia, congratulated President Ahmad al-Sharaa on assuming Syria’s presidency.

On his behalf and on behalf of the Armenian community in Syria Catholicos Aram I said in a congratulation cable: The Syrian people, with their various sects, have gone through countless difficulties and hardships, but have endured, armed with patience and hope that justice and equality will prevail in the country and that the rights of all Syrians will be respected equally and without discrimination.

Catholicos Aram I expressed hope that Syria will enjoy prosperity again thanks to the wise leadership of President Al-Sharaa, wishing him success in his duties.
