Cargo movement between Syria and Jordan via the Nassib border crossing has witnessed a significant increase since the beginning of this year, “Al-Hurriya” newspaper reported.
The Head of the Jordanian Association of Clearance and Transport Companies Daifallah Abu Aqouleh said that there is active shipment movement between the two countries.
He confirmed that truck traffic through the Jaber crossing, whether departing or arriving, loaded or empty, has increased four folds since the beginning of the year compared to the same period last year.
Abu Aqouleh stated that the number of trucks entering or exiting through the Nassib crossing reached 49,679, compared to 12,689 during the same period last year, according to Jordan’s Al Mamlaka TV.
