A number of civilians were martyred and some others were injured on Saturday when a car bomb exploded in Al-Bab city in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo.
Several mercenaries affiliated to the Turkish occupation were also killed in the attack.
Local sources told SANA reporter that the explosion occurred near “Al-Tawheed Mosque” in the center of Al-Bab, killing several civilians as well as Turkish-backed mercenaries and causing huge destruction to some buildings and cars.
The Turkish occupation mercenaries brought in reinforcements to the explosion site and cordoned off the area, the sources said.
The areas held by the terrorist groups and mercenaries backed by the Turkish regime have been witnessing a state of chaos and insecurity as a result of the conflict between members of the terrorist groups and their leaders over areas of influence and control and over looted items.
The city of Al-Bab was the scene of several car bomb attacks during the past months.
