Capture of one of the (ISIS) leaders in northern Iraq

On December 27th, the Iraqi security forces arrested one of the leaders of the terrorist organization “ISIS” in the Governorate of Kirkuk, north Iraq.

Alsumaria News quoted a statement from the Intelligence Agency of the Iraqi Interior Ministry that the operation of the terrorist’s arrest was carried out through a tight ambush that raided his home in Shwan district.

The statement added that he is wanted in accordance with the provisions of the Terrorism Law.

The Iraqi security forces continue to pursue the remnants of ISIS terrorists in separate areas of the Iraqi governorates.
