Campaign to Break Siege on Syria condemns the repeated Israeli attacks on Syrian territory

BEIRUT- The Arab international popular Campaign to Break the Siege on Syria has condemned the repeated Israeli attacks on Syrian territory.

Coordinator of the campaign’s committee Majdi al-Maasrawi said during the committee’s virtual meeting on Friday: “had it not been for its position against the Zionist colonialist scheme in the region, Syria would not have paid this heavy price.”

He reiterates the strong connection between the battle to defeat the occupation in Palestine and the battle to break the siege imposed on Syria.

The campaign also condemned the US policy of incitement against Syria and its flagrant interference in the policies and sovereignty of countries.

The campaign decided to prepare a document titled “breaking the siege on Syria” to be signed by as a large number of parties, federations, popular bodies, and Arab and international personalities as possible. Members of the campaign discussed the ongoing preparations made in their countries for the launch of the “convoy of Arab unity and the free people of the world to break the siege on Syria” to Damascus.
