Calls for coordination between Damascus and Beirut

Former Lebanese Minister Hasan Murad has called for coordination and cooperation with Syria for the common interest of Beirut and Damascus.

He tweeted yesterday: “We are facing a deep crisis and we must return to self-sufficiency through depending on our agricultural and industrial products and to turn our society to a production community to reduce the burden of imports.. Most importantly is to communicate with Syria immediately and to work together on carrying out integrated agricultural and industrial projects and reducing export duties.”

In the same context, the Lebanese National Forces and Parties Forum in Tripoli also called for coordination and cooperation between Lebanon and Syria to deal with the deteriorating economic situation in Lebanon.
