Cairo, (ST) – The head of the Million Center for Human Rights in Egypt, Hani al-Jaziri, denounced the American and Western coercive measures imposed on Syria, the latest of which was the so-called “American Caesar Act”.
Al-Jaziri said in a statement to a SANA correspondent in Cairo that the so-called “Caesar Act” is illegal and represents American bullying and all countries of the world and international institutions must confront it because it is a violation of international law.
He pointed out that Syria was subjected to a major conspiracy that targeted it for years, sayingthat the Syrian victories in the face of foreign agents, mercenaries and terrorist organizations made its enemies move clearly to impose coercive measures.
“The American administration seeks to impose sanctions against anyone who politically disagrees with it, Al-Jaziri said. He added that “the world today, especially in light of the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, is not in a position to allow US sanctions policies, but everyone must cooperate to confront the epidemic and provide humanitarian and health assistance”.
“Caesar Act” is a war crime and a service from Washington to the Zionist entity, says Jordanian party
Meanwhile in Amman, the Jordanian People’s Democratic Party condemned the American coercive measures against Syria, the most recent of which is called the “Caesar Law”, stressing its supporting for the Syrian state in the face of the United States aggressive policy.
The party’s political bureau pointed out in a statement today that what is called “Caesar Act” confirms the size of direct American interference and the crime that the American administration is committed against Syria and its people.
The statement said that the application of this – what is called “Caesar Act” constitutes a war crime and direct aggression against Syria and the largest service provided by the American administration to the Zionist entity within the framework of the plan that the American administration is trying to impose on the Arab reality under the name “Deal of the Century” to reshape the region politically in a way that serves its interests and liquidate the fixed national rights of the Arab Palestinian people and the all Arab rights.
The statement stressed that Syria, with its allies and the entire free Arab nation, is capable of facing this challenge, thwarting the American scheme and completing its role in eliminating terrorist spots supported by the American administration and the Turkish regime.
