DAMASCUS, (ST) _ In its weekly meeting held yesterday under the chairmanship of Dr. Wael Halaqi, the Cabinet approved draft supply and internal trade act provides for e tightening sanctions and fines on violators, so as to save the rights of citizens and meet their basic needs of materials, goods and services.
It also agreed ratification of the private license to run the public mobile telecommunications networks contracts in Syria to “BOT” with the two companies currently operating companies into licenses as from 1, 1, 2015
The prime minister stressed the government’s ability to adapt to the conditions of the crisis and devise solutions and immediate treatment of several emergency cases, pointing out that “2015 will witness real breakthroughs in the performance of service and economic sectors, especially the provision of petroleum products and bettering the performance of the transport sector.”
For his part, deputy premier and foreign and expatriates minister Walid al-Moallim gave a comprehensive political presentation in which he referred to the latest political developments in the international arena.
Several cabinet ministers reviewed issues pertaining to service and economic reality of the performance of their ministries and the efforts made to alleviate citizens suffering.
The cabinet ministers condemned the cowardly terrorist act against the gas laboratory gas of the south central region of Ebla in Homs, over which the prime minister stressed that such terrorist acts will increase the Syrian people determination for more work and production, noting the efforts of workers in the oil ministry, to maintain production to meet citizens needs.
