DAMASCUS,(ST)_The Syrian government has reviewed matter of ensuring citizen’s basic needs and measures adopted to implement the endorsed political plan.
According to SANA, Prime Minister called on Tuesday’s cabinet meeting to intensify efforts to deliver basic needs including fuel to all citizens across Syria.
Dr. Wael al-Halqi asked the two Ministries of Internal Trade and Oil to observe mechanism of distribution in fuel stations and open further ones in Damascus to meet citizen’s need.
He underscored importance of active communication between state establishments and citizens to cement national unity in confronting challenges that are facing the country.
Regarding political plan, the cabinet discussed outcomes of meeting recently held with political, social and civil parties to pave the way for launching national dialogue.
National Reconciliation Minister, Dr. Ali Haidar, has held talks in Daraa, Homs, Hama, and Lattakia provinces with political and social activists to back the national dialogue project.
Haidar briefed the cabinet on the ministry’s future plan and situation of the cleared areas as well as requirements for rehabilitating them (the areas).
As for telecommunication, ImadAbdolGani al-Saboni, the Minister of IT and Telecommunication, talked about what has been achieved to launch a third mobile operator.
