Cabinet condemns terrorist acts in Iraq and Lebanon, which coincide with the Zionist aggression on the Palestinian people
DAMASCUS,(ST)_ The Cabinet held its weekly meeting yesterday chaired by Dr. Wael al-Halaqi Prime Minister of the caretaker government during which discussions centered on conditions of agricultural, industrial, commercial and service sectors and means of enhancing their capabilities.
The Cabinet members condemned the cowardly terrorist acts perpetrated by terrorist groups incitements armed forces in Iraq and Lebanon, which coincide with the brutal Zionist aggression the Palestinian people, stressing that the will of the Arab people is the strongest and will deter the Zionist aggression and terrorism.
The cabinet also congratulated the Armed Forces Command, officers and soldiers on the army 69th founding anniversary.
The prime minister stressed that the brave army founding anniversary coincides with distinctive and quality victories carried out daily by the army dogmatic heroes on all fronts to bring life and stability to the country, pointing to the government ‘s continued efforts in collaboration with various Syrian activists in order to strengthening the capacity of the national economy and provide foodstuffs and oil derivatives.
He stressed that the government provides relief materials to all areas in need, without discrimination or exception, especially unsafe areas, noting the introduction of relief aid to rural Aleppo and Daraa.
Meantime, the Deputy premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs and expatriates in the caretaker government, Walid Moallem gave a comprehensive political debate in which he referred to the recent events in the Arab region, stressing that the victories achieved by our brave army enhance the resilience of the axis of resistance and opposition against plans suspicious stomach area.
Then the cabinet ministers approved several decisions listed on the meeting’s agenda, especially on water and irrigation, agriculture, communications, and national reconciliation
The cabinet, on the other hand, approved a draft law on Syria’s ratification to join the Minamata Convention concerning mercury, provides for the protection of the environment and to take all necessary measures to ensure protection against all forms of pollution and to ensure a healthy environment for the Syrian citizen.
