Cabinet Approves State Budget Bill for 2019 at SYP 3882 Billion

DAMASCUS- The Cabinet approved on Sunday a bill on the state general budget of 2019, setting it at SYP 3882 billion with an increase of SYP 695 billion compared to the 2018 budget, according to SANA.

The approved budget allocated SYP 2782 billion for running expenditures, SYP 1100 billion for investment expenditures and SYP 811 billion for social support.

The budget also allocated revenues for creating new job opportunities and SYP 50 billion for reconstruction.

 The Cabinet set the price of the USD in the budget at SYP 435 per dollar.
