Businessmen to Open Trade Centers Abroad

Damascus, (ST) – Agroup of economic events, made up of 11 businessmen, is ready to open trade centers in a number of countries of the world to support the national economy and face the unjust economic embargo imposed on Syria.

A member of the industrial Ggroup, Samer Rabbata, said that the Group will work to achieve consensus between industry, commerce and agriculture and “it will conduct large projects to stimulate the national economy and support the Syrian pound.”

“Centers will be opened in Egypt, Algeria, Venezuela and South Africa, whereas two centers will beopened in Dubai and Germany over the next few days, pointing out that the centers will include a variety of Syrian products including various industries such as handicrafts, textile, food and other local products,” Mr. Rabbata said.

He confirmed that the Group has an integral work program that will be announced soon by the supervisors of these centers who are members of the Group, explaining that the main objective of this activity is “to promote competition of the Syrian product.”
