Aleppo, (ST) – The Business Women Exhibition of the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce which is part of the 10th Women and Family Festival, is a socio-economic event introducing Aleppo women’s creations of handicrafts, folklore, embroideries, decorative accessories and sweets.
The exhibition is a unique case of community interaction that highlights the role of women as partners in the process of construction and development.
The exhibition included 122 pavilions with 180 participants, most of them businesswomen.
Amira Khudair, who participated in the exhibition, told SANA that her participation includes Oriental and folkloric works and traditional jewelry using agate and precious stones. Mrs. Khudair believes that the exhibition is a strong support for women in Aleppo.
The exhibition included the participation of confectionery products, old made-hand carpets and chocolate.
The exhibition is an important opportunity to introduce handicrafts and introduce social heritage and traditional industry.
