Bulgarian Parliamentary Friendship Group Reiterates Solidarity with Syria

Group of Parliamentary Friendship with Syria in Bulgaria has reiterated its solidarity with Syrian people in fighting terrorism and its readiness to offer all possible support for them.

The reiteration came during a ceremony held Friday  by the Syrian Embassy in Bulgaria to honor the group’s members, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency quoted Deputy Speaker of Bulgarian Parliament Mr. Krasimir Karakachanov, who is one of the group’s members, as saying that terrorism poses threat to all word peoples and it is supported by several countries, mainly the United States and Turkey.

 On her part, Syria’s Ambassador in Sofia Mrs. Nadra Sayyaf highly appreciated the group’s stances and its support for Syrian people’s rights to get rid of terrorism and to end unjust economic sanctions on them as well as to restore stability and security to all areas in Syria.

The friendship group is composed of seven Bulgarian members of parliament, including the deputy speaker.
