MOSCOW, (ST) – BRICS countries, during their forthcoming summit in Goa on October 15-16, are to propose establishing a fund dedicated for the reconstruction of Syria in the post crisis era, according to an Indian government source.
Sputnik news agency said that India would be the one to propose the initiative.
Last August, the Indian Minister for Foreign Affairs (Mubasher Jaweed) visited Syria and expressed his country’s readiness to actively contribute to development and reconstruction in Syria after the crisis ends.
