A statement issued by the ministerial meeting of the group, which was held in the Republic of South Africa, according to what was reported by the Russian Novosti Agency, said: “The ministers welcome Syria’s return to the League of Arab States, and affirm their support for the efforts aimed at a political and consensual solution that respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria.”

It is noteworthy that the BRICS group is an international organization that includes Russia, Brazil, India, China and South Africa, and their economies constitute 23 percent of the volume of the global economy and 18 percent of the volume of international trade.
