The price of futures contracts of Brent crude oil for October 2022 delivery decreased below $93 per barrel on London’s ICE on Friday for the first time since February 21, 2022, according to trading data.
As of 4:26 pm, the Brent price was down by 1.3% at $92.9 per barrel.
By 4:55 pm, the price of Brent oil narrowed losses to 0.25%, trading at $94.36 per barrel. Meanwhile, the price of WTI oil for September 2022 delivery was up by 0.32% at $87.09 per barrel.
