‘Breeze of Hope’ project provides medical attention to Syrian soldiers injured in ongoing terror war
About 30 Syrian wounded soldiers nationwide will benefit from the ‘breeze of Hope’ project [Nasmet Amal project] that offers psychological and medical treatment and rehabilitate the homes of the poorest soldiers.
The national project, launched by the Syrian businessman Mazen al-Tarazi, has reserved several rooms in the Sheraton Ma’aret Sednaya Hotel to host wounded soldiers and to provide them with medical treatment and recreation services for 10-15 days.
“During this period [10-15 days], the project team will rehabilitate the homes of the soldiers,” al-Tarazi told the Tishreen newspaper, indicating that the project team rehabilitated the home of the wounded soldier Ahmad al-Zarbo in al-Shagour area in Damascus.
Another home in Hama countryside for the first lieutenant Rafiq Ibrahim, whose legs were paralyzed after being shot in the neck in clashes in Damascus countryside, was also rehabilitated.
“The bad living conditions of the first lieutenant’s family has not undermined the steadfastness of his three brothers, who joined the Syrian Arab army to fight against terrorist organizations,” the Syrian businessman asserted.
In April 2015, the businessman, who is an expatriate in Kuwait, launched “Returning to Syria” campaign including an open invitation for young Syrian expatriates to return to the homeland and to contribute to rebuilding it.
He bore the travelling costs of 893 Syrian persons, who returned to their homeland coming from several countries.
Syrian expatriates have played a key role in supporting the steadfastness of the Syrian people during the past 5 years.
