Brazil condemns Israeli occupation’s Invasion of  Rafah

Brasilia- (ST)- Brazil condemned the Israeli occupation’s invasion of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, stressing that the invasion undermines the ongoing mediation and dialogue efforts.

Reuters quoted the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as saying in a statement on Tuesday: “Israel” deliberately chose to intensify the conflict in an area known to have a high density of civilian population, ignoring calls from the international community and from its closest allies.

The statement added: “Such a process may also undermine ongoing mediation and dialogue efforts.”

Earlier yesterday, the Israeli occupation forces stormed into Rafah crossing, which is the only passage for aid to enter the Gaza Strip, and closed it completely, threatening to exacerbate the humanitarian catastrophe.

Arab Parliament: The occupation’s invasion of Rafah leads to genocide

Moreover, the Arab Parliament condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ invasion of the Rafah crossing in the Gaza Strip, considering it a dangerous escalation that undermines the ceasefire in the stricken Strip and the entry of humanitarian aid into it.

The Arab Parliament affirmed in a statement yesterday reported by the Palestinian Wafa Agency, that the developments taking place in the occupied Palestinian territories and the continuation of the occupation’s attacks in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, are a clear embodiment of the law of the jungle, and a flagrant violation of all international norms, laws and resolutions, which indicates a new catastrophe that will end the remaining relief attempts and lead to complete genocide and forced displacement of Palestinians.

The Arab Parliament called on the international community, especially the American administration, to put more pressure on the occupation to stop its aggression against the Gaza Strip which has been continuous since the seventh of last October.
