Brahimi to meet with Russian, US diplomats on Friday

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov, US Assistant Secretary of State Wendy Sherman and United Nations and Arab League Special Representative on Syria Lakhdar Brahimi will hold a tripartite meeting in Geneva on Friday, Brahimi told a press conference in Geneva on Tuesday, according to Voice of Russia, Interfax.

 We shall do all we can to push the (Syrian settlement) process, he said.So far no major progress has been reached in the intra-Syrian negotiations, he said. The Brahimi-mediated talks over the Syrian crisis resolution began in Geneva yesterday.
