Borrell: The United Nations is under attack from “Israel” on all fronts

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, affirmed that the United Nations is under attack by “Israel” on all fronts.

Borrell said in a statement reported by Wafa Agency: “The decision of the United States to give “Israel” a month to solve the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is not enough, and many will die during this period,” expressing his hope that the European Union Council will condemn the Israeli aggression against the United Nations Interim Forces (UNIFIL) in southern Lebanon.
On the other hand, the Human Rights Watch organization called on “Israel” to stop its aggression against the “UNRWA” agency, stressing that “Israel” should not prevent the most important UN relief agency for Palestinian refugees from working in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The international organization stressed that “Israel” should allow UNRWA and other humanitarian agencies to carry out their work in Gaza, noting that the use of the weapon of starvation is a war crime and governments, including the United States, which have not yet resumed funding of UNRWA, should publicly support UNRWA and fully fund it.
