Boroujerdi: Iran to Continue Supporting Syria to Solve the Crisis

Beirut, (ST)_ Chairman of the Foreign Policy and National Security Committee at the Iranian Shura Council, Alaeddin Boroujerdi asserted that Iran will continue to support and help Syria to solve the crisis.

In an interview with Al-Manar TV channel, Boroujerdi said that the important stage related to fragmentation and division the Syrian state had finished and the Syrian Arab Army achieve victory against the armed terrorist groups.

“We are supporting Syria as it confronts with Zionist entity” adding that any attack against Syria, as the latest attack on Quneitra, is considered an attack against the whole resistance axis.

“Zionist entity is the main enemy of the Islamic world” affirming that Iran will do its best by all the means to respond to its crimes, defend the resistance and to support Syria.

Boroujerdi pointed out that Israel, in one of its official TV channels, expressed regret for its attack on Quneitra and it didn’t want to escalate, but we should respond to its aggression and that was done later by the Lebanese Resistance.”

He confirmed that Zionist entity is playing a dangerous game, if it continues, that means that it will get more blows from the resistance axis” pointing out that Iran informed US by the Swiss ambassador to Tehran that the Zionist entity crossed the red lines and the right to retaliate is reserved to resistance front.
