Boroujerdi Blames US for Al-Qaeda’s Terrorist Activities in Syria

Chairman of the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi took the US responsible for al-Qaeda terrorist activities in Syria, and stressed that Washington is supporting the terrorist group in line with the interests of ‘Israel”.

The US encourages al-Qaeda members to enter Syria from different countries and carry out the massacre of Syrians, Boroujerdi said on Wednesday.

He stated that Syria is the axis of support for the resistance front in the fight against the Zionist regime, and added, “And therefore, the US and its allies are using all their financial, political and arms facilities to change the political structure of this country in line with the interests of the Zionist regime.”

Boroujerdi noted the destruction of Syria’s infrastructure by foreign-sponsored armed groups shows the Israeli regime’s direct interference in the war on the Arab state, according to FNA.

In relevant development, a terrorist group affiliated to the Afghan Taliban announced earlier today that it will decapitate anyone who cooperates with the Syrian government in Syria, no matter it is a man, woman or a child.

“We will decapitate anyone who interacts with the Syrian government, even if he/she is a Muslim,” the terrorist group, which introduces itself as the Taliban of Syria, said in a statement released in video footages on Sunday.

Earlier reports also said that several militants active along Pak-Afghan border and aligned with Taliban were travelling to Lebanon and Turkey via the Gulf states to join the so-called ‘Free Syria Army’ terrorist group against the Syrian government government.

Reliable sources said in March that as many as fifty militants have already made their way to join the Free Syria Army while dozen others are already preparing to join the movement within next few days and weeks.
