Boosting Bilateral Relations with DPRK

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Minister of Labor, Dr. Khalaf al-Abdullah and the Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in Damascus Zhang Myung discussed recently here the horizons of strengthening bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries in the sector of labor and training.

The minister stressed the importance of activating the draft Convention in the field of labor, employment, training, and development of small and medium enterprises and the preparation of an executive program to achieve the exchange of practical experience in these areas.

The minister stressed the need to work on the development of joint cooperation regarding laws and regulations, programs and ways to get labor market data, noting sincere attitudes to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, along with Syria, during the current crisis.  

For his part, the Korean Ambassador underlined his country’s supporting stand to Syria, expressing confidence that the Syrian people will achieve victory in the battle being waged and rebuild modern Syria.
