Bogdanov reiterates his country’s support for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity

Moscow (ST): The Special envoy of the Russian President to the Middle East and North Africa and deputy foreign minister Mikhail Bogdanov reiterated his country’s support for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The statement released by the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Bogdanov and Syria’s ambassador to Russia discussed the latest developments of the situation in Syria, adding that Bogdanov affirmed his country’s unwavering stand in supporting Syria’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, fighting international terrorism and pressing ahead with supporting Syrian people by exerting the necessary efforts to reconstruct the economic infrastructure of the country.

The statement pointed out that issues related to confronting coronavirus pandemic and its adverse repercussions were also reviewed during the meeting.
