Bogdanov reaffirms importance of eliminating terrorists in Idleb

Moscow – Russian President’s Special envoy to the Middle East, Deputy Foreign Minister Michael Bogdanov reaffirmed the importance of eliminating terrorists in Idleb.

“I think that this issue is inevitable, as it is natural to immediately eliminate those terrorists who don’t hand their arms over,” Bogdanov told journalists in Moscow, SANA reported.

He added ” Our talks last September with Turkish officials and all the parties concerned focused on that issue in particular.”

On Tuesday, Bogdanov delivered a speech at Valdai Discussion Club Meeting for International Dialogue in which he said that there are some areas in the surroundings of Idleb which are still attacked by terrorists, and all of these areas should be liberated.

He called upon the Western states to stop their support to the terrorist organizations which they use to implement their political agendas and to achieve their interests.
