Bogdanov, Haddad: No Alternative for Political Settlement in Syria

MOSCOW, (ST)- Developments in Syria in the light of yesterday’s  terrorist bombings in Tartous and Jableh was the topic of the meeting held on Tuesday in Moscow between Russian President’s Special Envoy for Middle East and Deputy Foreign Minister Michael Bogdanov and the Syrian Ambassador in Moscow Riad Haddad.

 According to a Russian Foreign Ministry statement, the two diplomats affirmed that there is no alternative for political settlement in Syria in parallel with terrorism fighting  in accordance with the relevant Security Council resolutions and the decisions of the International Syria Support Group.
