Bogdanov, Haddad Discuss Developments in Syria

MOSCOW, (ST)- Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East and North Africa Mikhail Bogdanov and Syria’s Ambassador in Moscow Riad Haddad on Friday discussed developments of the situation in Syria.

 In a statement on Friday, the Russian Foreign Ministry said ” during the meeting the two sides exchanged view points on developments in Syria with focus on effective  counterterrorism efforts and on ways to push the process of finding a political settlement to the crisis in Syria on the basis of the Security Council resolution No. 2254.
