Bogdanov asserts Russia’s solid support to Syria

Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov has discussed with Syria’s Ambassador in Moscow Riyad Haddad the recent developments in Syria.

According to a statement released by the Russian Foreign Ministry, Bogdanov reiterated his country’s solid support for Syria’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.

The Russian official, in addition, affirmed the continuity of Moscow’s active support to Syria in fighting terrorism.

Bogdanov  and Haddad debated bilateral cooperation in the economic and humanitarian fields with the aim of accelerating the process of rebuilding Syria.
