The Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and African Countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, announced that the next international meeting on Syria in the Astana format will be held on November 22-23.
Sputnik quoted Bogdanov as saying: “The guarantor countries Russia, Iran and Turkey agreed to participate in the meeting in addition to representatives of the Syrian parties and the observer countries.”
The Kazakh Foreign Ministry announced yesterday that the next meeting will be held at the end of this month.
Kazakhstan hosted the eighteenth international meeting on Syria in the Astana format on June 15-16.
