Bogdanov and Haddad discuss the situation in Syria and bilateral cooperation

The Special Representative of the Russian President for Middle East and African Affairs, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, discussed with the Syrian Ambassador in Moscow, Dr. Riad Haddad, the latest developments in Syria and issues of bilateral cooperation and others.

In a statement today, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that during the meeting, an in-depth exchange of views took place on the developments in the situation in and around Syria, with a focus on the tasks of promoting a comprehensive settlement in it.

The Russian Foreign Ministry added: Objective issues were also considered to further strengthen the multifaceted Russian-Syrian cooperation.
