Bogdanov and Haddad discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation

Moscow (ST): The Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and African Countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, discussed with the Syrian Ambassador to Moscow, Dr. Riyad Haddad, the strengthening of bilateral cooperation and the developments of the situation in the Middle East. 

The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Bogdanov and Haddad discussed the continuation of strengthening multifaceted cooperation between the two countries in light of the reconstruction of Syria.

According to the statement, the Russian side renewed its firm support for sovereignty, unity and the territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic, and its readiness to continue helping the Syrian people in the fight against international terrorism.
