Bogdanov and Haddad discuss Russian-Syrian cooperation and developments in the region

Moscow (ST): The Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and African Affairs, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, discussed with Syria’s Ambassador to Moscow, Dr. Riyad Haddad, the developments of the situation in Syria and its surroundings and in the region in general.

 

The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Bogdanov received Haddad today, and the meeting focused on ways to settle the crisis in Syria within the framework of the Astana process.

According to the statement, the talks also dealt with some urgent issues of Russian-Syrian cooperation, including the schedule of bilateral contacts.
